Rotary Centennial Everest Expedition 2005 led by Mona Mulepati with Mr. Kami Sherpa and Mr. Pem Dorjee Sherpa have been successful to scale 848m high Mt. Everest today, May 30, 2005.
They hoisted flags of Nepal and Rotary nternational on the top of Everest. The two members of the expedition- Kami Sherpa and Pem Dorjee Sherpa have already climbed Everest. They had left for Lukla from Kathmandu on March 28.
The expedition is organized to mark Rotary Centennial Year. Rotary Centennial Everest Expedition 2005 is promoted by Nepal Tourism Board.
